Local context

Warners Bay at a glance, for plumbing work

Warners Bay began as Lymington, a township Jonathan Warner laid out in August 1840 and named for his English hometown. It was Lake Macquarie’s second subdivision, and some lots sold only on a third attempt in 1885. Council gives 1929 for the water supply and 1955 for sewerage. A railway was planned but never built, and the park between King and Queen Streets is the land left vacant for it. Nearly a third of occupied homes are now units, townhouses or semis (2021 Census), so in those it is worth finding out which pipes and shut-off valves are shared with the neighbours before work starts.

Hot water replacement
My husband spoke with Josh the owner about our hot water service in the afternoon. By the next day it was installed and working. Great service. Great price. Very impressed.
