What it costs
Kitchen tapware and small waste repairs fall in the same $120–$280 band as tap repairs generally. Relocations and commercial fit-out work are quoted to the drawings as a fixed price before we start.
Recent work
Kitchen work runs from a first-aid room kitchenette fit-out, stainless sink, mixer and under-bench hot water, to plumbing for a new kitchen and hot water service at The Entrance, done on the same job as a bathroom re-arrange with core holes through a suspended slab. On a rural property at Jilliby, a floor waste set in a shed slab was run to a new absorption trench serving that floor waste and a sink in a chicken-prep area, with a vent, a sink point, an overflow relief gully and a provision for a future connection. For a shop at Soldiers Beach, in the Norah Head locality, the surface levels around the grease trap were raised so stormwater runoff stops entering the system.

Kitchen Plumbing FAQs
Can you move the kitchen sink or tap to a new spot?
Usually, and it is the same reasoning as a bathroom: new supply and waste runs set out before the joinery goes in. The fixed quote comes off the layout, so the price is known before the kitchen is pulled apart.
Do you install dishwashers and fridge water lines?
Yes, dishwashers, fridge water points and mixer connections are regular work. What matters is the connection being done properly: a proper isolating valve and a waste that will not leak into the cabinet.
Do you do commercial kitchens and grease traps?
Yes. Trade waste, floor wastes and grease traps for food-prep sites are part of the commercial work. Greasy kitchen wastewater needs a grease trap and trade-waste approval before it goes to sewer: Hunter Water in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, Central Coast Council on the Coast. We install the trap to what that approval sets, not to a generic spec.
Can the gas cooktop be done in the same visit?
Yes, and that is the point of holding both licences. The sink, tapware and dishwasher are plumbing; the cooktop is gas work. One visit, one quote, and the gas side finishes with the compliance certificate it legally needs.
