Residential work is everything water and gas touches in the house: bathrooms from rough-in to fit-off, hot water repair or replacement, taps, toilets, kitchen and laundry connections, blocked drains and stormwater, pumps and filtration, and the gas appliances a plumbing-only operator cannot legally touch. Because Josh holds both licences, a job that crosses from plumbing into gas stays with the one tradesperson and the one quote.
What it does not cover: tiling, cabinetry, electrical and the other trades are left to the people who do them, and we work in alongside yours rather than pretending to be a builder. The plumbing scope is quoted clearly so you know exactly where our job ends.
What it costs
Small jobs sit in predictable bands, taps and toilets run $120–$450 in the price guide, and bigger work is quoted to the job as a fixed price before we start. After-hours emergencies are priced on the phone before we head out.
Recent work
Recent residential work includes completed bathrooms at Lake Munmorah, Gwandalan, Wyee Point, Yarramalong and Newcastle, a three-room renovation at Bateau Bay, and jobs photographed at Summerland Point, Woongarrah and Blue Haven.
On hot water: a replacement at Blue Haven, a new Thermann electric storage unit on the existing pad at Merewether, and a Thermann on a house wall at Edgeworth with a tempering valve and relief line fitted. Two electric bidet seats went in at Chisholm and a heated bidet seat was retro-fitted at Merewether, each on an existing toilet suite with water and power connected. At Lake Munmorah the old downpipes were all renewed in PVC to keep the gutters flowing, and the Bateau Bay renovation has reached fit-off, with a 150 kg concrete freestanding bath in the new bathroom.

Residential plumbing FAQs
Do you take on small jobs, or only renovations?
Both, and most weeks are a mix. A leaking tap, a running toilet or a tired hot water unit gets the same fixed-price treatment as a full bathroom. If you have a few small things, list them together and they can usually be priced and done in one visit.
Can you work in with my builder or tiler on a renovation?
That is how most of the renovation work already runs. We set the plumbing out against the new layout with your builder and tiler, rough in while the room is stripped, and come back for fit-off after tiling. If you do not have the other trades yet, we can bring crews we have finished bathrooms alongside.
How does the quoting work for a home job?
You send the details or we talk it through on the phone, and you get a clear fixed price before any work starts. The number is confirmed in writing, so nothing moves once we are on the job unless a variation is agreed first.
Are you licensed and insured for residential work?
Yes. Josh is a licensed plumber and gas fitter (NSW licence 498220C), the business is Donza Plumbing Pty Ltd, ABN 51 697 209 153, and it carries $20 million public liability cover. Plumbing is certified to AS/NZS 3500 and gas work to AS/NZS 5601 with the compliance certificate.
