Who we are
These terms apply to work carried out by Donza Plumbing Pty Ltd (ABN 51 697 209 153, NSW contractor licence 498220C), a licensed plumber and gas fitter based in Mannering Park NSW, servicing the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter.
Quotes and pricing
We talk through the job and give you a clear, fixed price before we start, so the number you agree to is the number you pay. Your exact price is confirmed in writing before any work begins. The figures on our pricing page are indicative market ranges, not quotes. If the job changes once we are into it, we stop and agree the variation with you before doing the extra work.
Payment
Prices include GST. Parts and materials are itemised where they apply. Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed something different in writing. For larger jobs we may agree progress payments or a deposit up front, and that will be in the written quote.
Emergency and after-hours work
We attend genuine emergencies around the clock: burst pipes, sewer overflows, gas leaks and no hot water. After-hours work is charged at a higher rate than scheduled work, and the rate is agreed on the phone before we head out, not after we arrive.
Workmanship and warranties
Work is carried out by a licensed plumber and gas fitter to AS/NZS 3500 for plumbing and AS/NZS 5601 for gas, and certified where the work requires it. Our work comes with the guarantees required under Australian Consumer Law, which nothing in these terms excludes. Manufacturers' warranties apply to the appliances and parts we supply, and we will tell you what they cover.
Your side of the job
We ask that you give us accurate details about the job, safe access to the work area, and a heads-up on anything we should know: asbestos, dogs, tenant access, strata rules. If something on site is different from what was described, the quote may need to be revised before work continues.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the cost of re-doing the work or paying to have it re-done. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
