What it costs
New work is quoted to the plans as a fixed price by stage, rough-in and fit-off, so there are no padded hours on site. Send the drawings through and we will come back with a number.
Recent work
Recent work covers the range: stack drainage, drains and rough-in for a double-storey extension and renovation at Summerland Point, a laundry and powder-room rough-in on a larger renovation at Woongarrah, and a three-room renovation at Bateau Bay where the old external sewer stack was renewed to 100 mm PVC and redesigned for the new rooms. At Millfield, about 70 m of new stormwater connects 8 downpipes, with surface inlet points and clear-outs for cleaning. On a rural property at Jilliby, a floor waste set in a shed slab was later run to a new absorption trench. Before Donza, Josh ran crews on large commercial sites across the Hunter.

When does the plumber come in on a new build or extension?
Early, and twice. The rough-in happens once the frame is up and before linings, which is why fixture positions need deciding before then. We come back for fit-off once tiling and joinery are done. The quote is set against the drawings at the start so both stages are priced.
Do you do commercial kitchens and grease traps?
Yes. Trade waste, floor wastes and grease traps are part of the commercial work. A kitchen that sends greasy wastewater to sewer needs trade-waste approval first, from Hunter Water in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle or Central Coast Council on the Coast, and the trap goes in to what that approval sets. If the site has a food-prep requirement, we scope the plumbing against it.
Can you work to a builder's program?
That is how the work already runs. Josh ran crews on large commercial sites across the Hunter before Donza, so hitting a set-out date and sequencing with other trades is normal practice rather than a special request.
Do you take on strata and property maintenance?
Yes. Ongoing maintenance for strata, real-estate and property managers is part of the week. Compliance items like backflow testing and TMV servicing can be put on a schedule so nothing lapses between inspections.
