Water, sewer & backflow
Central Coast Council supplies water and sewer here, and backflow test reports are lodged with Council. What the annual backflow test involves
Yarramalong is about 20 km upstream of Wyong, and we confirm on site whether a property has natural gas or LPG before quoting gas fitting work.
Josh holds the gas licence as well as the plumbing licence, so the gas connection and the compliance certificate are part of the same job.
We repair, replace and install gas, electric, heat pump and continuous-flow hot water units in Yarramalong, and take the old unit away. No-hot-water jobs are attended around the clock.
We clear blocked sinks, toilets and sewers in Yarramalong with the jetter or the drain machine, and put a camera down a drain that keeps blocking.
On the Central Coast the owner looks after the sewer pipes up to and including the point of connection, which takes in the boundary shaft and overflow gully. If the boundary shaft is flooded or a neighbour has the same problem, it may be Council’s, so call Central Coast Council on 02 4306 7900 before booking a plumber.

Recent work
Work we have done in Yarramalong.
We completed a bathroom renovation in Yarramalong. We did the plumbing from the drainage set-out in the open floor joists through to the finished fit-off. The finished room has a double vanity, vessel basins and a freestanding bath. We handle the same rough-in and fit-off work on bathroom renovations across Yarramalong.
Local context
Yarramalong is a township on the Wyong River, about 20 km upstream from Wyong, in a valley with horse studs. The 2021 Census counted 148 private dwellings, and all 114 occupied dwellings were separate houses. Central Coast Council describes the Wyong River catchment as having a long history of flooding, and Wyong Creek flooded properties at Yarramalong in February 2013. We have completed a bathroom renovation here, with the drainage set out in the open floor joists through to a double vanity, vessel basins and a freestanding bath.
