Local context

Glendale at a glance, for plumbing work

Glendale was known as the Crossroads, after the junction of Cardiff Road and Edgeworth Road (now Main Road and Lake Road), until a ballot run by the Cardiff West P&C Association chose the new name: Glendale 1,581 votes, Lyndale 1,530. Its first subdivision, declared in 1915, cut the Newcastle Wallsend Company’s estate into large farm lots. Part of Glendale lies in the catchment covered by council’s Winding Creek and Lower Cockle Creek flood plan, adopted on 27 June 2017. Council’s Property Flooding Information Summary shows flood planning levels where a flood study exists, worth checking before drainage or floor-level work.

Hot water replacement
My husband spoke with Josh the owner about our hot water service in the afternoon. By the next day it was installed and working. Great service. Great price. Very impressed.
