Local context

Brightwaters at a glance, for plumbing work

Brightwaters was known as Sugar Bay when Joseph Marshall, a Sydney brewery proprietor, began planting cane there in 1865. By 1870 he had 60 acres, and a steam sugar mill stood near Mill Lane until a bushfire destroyed it in January 1875. Henry Halloran’s Brightwaters estates were declared in 1913 and 1914, did not sell out, and were re-advertised after the Second World War. Council gives 1963 for the water supply. Hunter Water lists Brightwaters among the communities its Dora Creek treatment works serves, so a drainage job starts by locating the property’s sewer connection.

Hot water replacement
My husband spoke with Josh the owner about our hot water service in the afternoon. By the next day it was installed and working. Great service. Great price. Very impressed.
